6/3/19 | West Hunter Escape Shaft | 53 Feet

Cut Sample Assay Work

In May of 2019 One cut Sample was taken from the second landing in the West Hunter Escape shaft, which is 53 ft deep. This cut sample was taken from an easily and safely accessible location for a two-person crew to cut out of the drift back. The cut samples were for purposes in determining a more representative ore grade for a mineable dimension.

Samples were sent to Hazen Research, Inc. in Golden, Colorado who performed fire assay analysis with gravimetric finish. Results presented in Table 1.0 are from Analytical Report 19M01970-001.

Tools used to obtain these cut samples include hammer and chisel, electric grinder, sample bags, ladder and appropriate personal protective equipment. These samples are the eighth set of samples taken by the current operator of the Bates-Hunter mine, BH Mining Company

Sample 1: WH53-001: A 20” cut was taken from the back of the western drift no more than a foot into the narrow and high drift. The height of the sample is about 8ft off the sill.

Near-term planned work includes additional samples to be taken from the 240-foot level. Mineralized material located in fill and easily accessible vein remnants is being gathered as it becomes safely accessible for bulk sample analysis to include metallurgical recovery and mineral processing properties.
