11/13/19 | 240 Foot Level

Underground Chisel Samples

In late October two chip-channel samples were taken of the remnant Bates vein located on the 240 ft level, west of the shaft at the intersection of a crosscut and the Bates 240 Level. This area has only been grab sampled prior to mucking out the broken remnant stope material. That grab sample returned with 1.53 opt Au. At that time, the vein could not be safely sampled. Now that much of the drift has been mucked out and made safe to travel, the vein is accessible at this location, allowing for samples to be taken in the “heart” [most heavily metallic mineral bearing portion] of the vein near the sill and back of the drift. Tools used to obtain these cut samples include shovel, sample bags, hammer, chisel and appropriate personal protective equipment. These samples are the eleventh set of samples taken by the current operator of the BatesHunter mine, BH Mining Company.

Samples were sent to Hazen Research, Inc. in Golden, Colorado who performed fire assay analysis with gravimetric finish. Results presented in Table 1.0 are from Analytical Report 19M03197.
