Man Power Ramp Up


MATT COLLINS MINING ENGINEER

Mr. Collins joined the GS Mining Company team in January 2018 as the full time General Manager.

He is a Colorado mining engineer with thirty years of experience in and around the mines of Central City. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines where he has also served as an adjunct faculty member.

He is a Colorado registered engineer; a member of the Colorado Society of Mining Engineers, the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America, the Association for Mineral Exploration and the present President of the Colorado Front Range Mine Rescue Inc. He is the recipient of numerous awards in Colorado for mining safety, engineering and environmental stewardship and pollution prevention. He has been a general manager and Chief Operating Officer for Sutter Gold Mining Inc. and has consulted for numerous other ventures.

He is well known in the Central City area and has the respect of state and municipal regulatory bodies.
